“A Salted At Sea Caramel Dream” Recipe
The caramel cream is one of my favorite types of candy. Everyone has their own way of eating it but in the end, it’s just delicious. To honor this little gem, Lost Ark Distilling has created a liqueur in partnership with Goetze’s that will bring back those caramel memories. If you aren’t familiar with Goetze’s, here’s a bit of history:
In 1895, William and August Goetze bought a struggling chewing gum company in Baltimore and began to build what would later become a family legacy. Lasting through two World Wars, The Great Depression, and still thriving 22 Presidents later, their vision of community and crafting locally has never wavered. Now, over 125 years later, we celebrate this family and their wonderful confectionary products with our Caramel Creams Liqueur. We’ve sourced the very same cream and secret Caramel Creams ingredients, combined it with our locally produced, hand-crafted rum, and created a one-of-a-kind liqueur honoring this sweet iconic American treat.
“A Salted At Sea Caramel Dream” Recipe
Ingredients
- 1.5 Ounces Shipley's Vanilla Rum
- 2 Ounces Caramel Creams Liqueur
- 1 Ounce Caramel Syrup
Instructions
- Coat a rocks glass in your favorite caramel syrup
- Roll the rim of the caramel coated glass in sea salt
- Combine all of the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake for 30 seconds
- Strain into a rocks glass
