Kentucky Lemonade Recipe – It’s Kentucky In A Glass!

To me it is always lemonade season. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of traveling in the South, you know it’s always spiked lemonade season. This drink is fairly simple but delicious way to kick up a wonderful warm weather drink. Your grandma may have her own special blend but this uses Four Roses Kentucky Bourbon. Enjoy!

Kentucky Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 Ounces Four Roses Bourbon
  • 3/4 Ounce Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 Ounce Simple Syrup
  • Soda Water

Instructions
 

  • Combine the Bourbon, lemon juice and syrup into a highball glass
  • Add a splash of soda water and stir
  • Fill glass with ice, top up with more soda water and stir once to mix
  • Garnish with lemon slice
